#795, Coal Load HO scale: During the depression people would go down to the tracks to pick up coal that might have fallen off passing trains to use in their furnace or fireplace. Put a small pile out behind the house and around the base of the coaling station and in the tenders. Our "Coal Load" can be used as ground cover around tracks, loads for coal tenders, gondolas and other purposes in and around our "Quick's Coal" coal mine kit. Quantity: Each bag holds 1/2 cup, or 53 grams of product.
The material in the Coal Load provides a highly realistic "scale coal" for use in a wide variety of ways: in gondola and hopper cars, locomotive tenders, a coal truck on the city streets, spilled around the RR coaling station and piled in the bins of a coal yard.
