Sometimes during vacation travels we happen on a structure that causes a rapid grab for the camera. Such was the case with Gran'ma's House when we came upon the prototype standing grand, framed against a clear blue Port Townsend, Washington sky. Our Gran'ma's House kit has followed the original design as much as possible. The House and Garage have die-cut walls of precision-milled lap siding. It is detailed to perfection with our excellently inject-molded plastic windows, doors turned porch posts, two chimneys and specially designed spool trim to adorn the front and back porches.

In this kit we use our vacu-formed stone for the house foundation while the roofs are of our made from our famous "Profile Shingles." Complete instructions with full sized template and detail drawings are included for easily construction. This kit was originally introduced by Campbell Scale Models in August 1974.

For those modelers what would like to add some final touches to this kit, some have added their own lighting--see the photo above-right. Though not supplied by Campbell, you can find magazine articles that give good instructions on how to include lighting in your kit.
