Campbell Scale Models
Weston Figures
Leo Campbell, the original owner of Campbell Scale Models, acquired over 100 Figures from Charles Weston back in the early 1970s. The agreement then, which we still honor today, is we will only sell our Weston Figures at cost...meaning, our cost of producing/painting the figures.
This means we cannot offer you any discounts on Weston Figures.
Today, we cast and paint these figures when time permits. When our molds no longer give the figured details required, we re-manufacture our molds from the sterling silver masters that Charles Weston hand carved over 50 years ago. Even after all this time, there still is quite a following of modelers that want only Weston Figures on their layout.
Each figure is cast from a metal alloy of 42% Bismuth, 8% Cadmium, 38% Lead & 12% Tin. When holding a Weston Figure in your hand you can immediately tell this is no plastic Chinese knock-off but the real deal. All Weston Figures are manufactured (hand cast and painted) at our Southern Oregon facility.
